Love Your Bandanna!
My person pulled up to a stop light and I couldn't believe my eyes; we stopped right next to that new retriever who moved in down the street.
I said, "My name is Jackson! Who are you?" She said, "I'm Sadie. Do you lkie my bandanna? My person is taking me to the dog park. Do you think you can get your person to follow us so we can play together?"
"Hey, that's where we are going, too! Let's meet by that oak tree with the broken branch. Maybe we can chase some squirrels together."
All of a sudden, I heard tires squealing, and then... CRASH! Boy, that sure came out of nowhere.. I looked around and saw two squirrels running into the woods, and Sadie and her person's car slammed into a tree. The light had turned green and upon take off, those mischevios squirrels Jon Jon and Beau had run out in front of their car. My person drove the car to the wrecked, tan oldsmobile and jumped out, I hear him talking frantically on the phone. I looked at Sadie and she wagged her tail slightly, but had fear in her beautiful, brown eyes. The smell of rubber resignated my nose.
Nervously, I said, "I love your bandanna, but do they have them in green?"
She laughed and said, "I can't believe you didn't ask if I was okay! But, yes, I'm sure they have them in green, Jackson."
