He's a mailman! His name might be George or John or Harry.
He’s on a road… maybe in the country and he’s delivering Christmas letters and presents!
He’s holding a present in his hand. He might be bringing a present to his family. Maybe it’s a present for mom or for his daughter. It could be a present of candy or maybe a pair of stockings.
There has to be at least two stockings.
He’s happy to be making other people happy.
Right before this scene, someone has just said, “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Easter” to him and maybe he’ll say, “Merry Christmas” too.
It’s cold and damp. It’s not snowing now but the snow has been blowing around. It’s 32 or 33 degrees out.
He’s at the door of a house. You can tell by the door.
There is the smell of chicken or turkey or cookies baking. Baking things smells good. There is smoke coming out of the chimney.
What happens next? Well… we open the presents and hear, “Merry Christmas!!”
