Merry Christmas!
Somebody knocked over the tree. The dog or the cat. We don't know which one. The sittin' up there so we can play with them.
The cat's name is Baby and he says, "Not me!" Sam, the dog, says, "He's lying! We both knocked it over." But Baby says, I'm not taking the blame. The way your ears are down, you're telling on yourself!"
The way it happened was that Baby and Sam were playing hide and seek. Baby was hiding behind the Christmas tree and Sam started chasing him. Had to be. A dog chases a cat. A cat does not chase a dog.
"I'm going to get you Baby," said Sam. And then, CRASH! All of the ornaments came cracking down but it didn't make a sound because the floor is carpeted.
Baby and Sam have a family who lives in the house. The trouble started when one of the kids let the dog inside.
"I see you but you can't see me," said Baby who hid under the sofa. Every time Sam got a little bit closer to the sofa, Baby reached out her claw to swipe at him.
Eventually, Sam got tired of this and went into the kitchen.
