Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
I see a lot
of snow. The mailman is delivering the mail. His name is Tom. He is delivering
Christmas presents. Could be some packages for his family from another family
for Christmas. He could be a policeman bringing a package from his family.
Looks like they
live in the country ‘cause they have a country home. I see a Christmas wreath. It’s pretty.
The packages
could contain something kids want for Christmas. Christmas presents. A
basketball or games. Candy is in the present he’s holding. A real good candy.
Chocolate!
He is also
bringing letters. Christmas cards. Maybe with a gift card. People could be
sending a card to say, “Merry Christmas.” Someone might not be in town. Just to
make sure everyone gets a Merry Christmas. Tom feels happy because it really
cheers everybody.
This is in
the country alright. He could be taking it from the mail office to the farm. It
has to be up north. It could be anywhere where there is cold weather. Oklahoma-
it’s a pretty state.
When you
walk in the snow it makes a “Slish Slash.” Your feet get wet. The wind is
blowing. I don’t know much about snow ‘cause we don’t have any.
Some people
might be playing Christmas songs. People have things to do at Christmas. Away
in the Manger. Here Comes Santa Clause. Jingle Bells.
He smells
turkey cookin’. I love turkey. We have turkey for Christmas and we smell it all
the time. He is going to go home and go to sleep. His children are going to
wait for Santa. He is happy.
