The boy’s name is Alex. Alex is 6 years old with dark curly hair. Ales loves his overalls. He has grown a little out of them. They have a big hole in the knee. They are too short but he just “can’t not“ wear them. His shoes are old and his socks are short but he refuses to take them off. Alex has a dog. “Let’s call him Bingo.” Bingo is a cocker spaniel with long curly hair. Alex’s mom is Marie. Alex loves to bake cookies with his mom. His favorite is chocolate chip. He just can’t get enough! He loves to get gooey, therefore he has to hide when he wants to enjoy a cookie. His mom is not happy having to clean him up. Alex is hiding and as he eats his cookie and takes a sip of the coke that he also loves. He rolls his eyes to make sure he is not found holding the cookie. As he’s rolling his eyes, he sees Bingo. Bingo is half in the room, starring, salivating with his tongue hanging out! He knows Alex is going to share. Alex loves Bingo so of course he shares. But now Alex and Bingo are both a chocolate mess!! Oh no! In comes mom! “What are you doing?” she says. “Up to the bathroom with you, Alex.” Next she spots, Bingo. Pointing to Alex, she shakes her finger and says, “After you take a bath, we’re taking Bingo outside!” After his bath, Alex gets the hose from his mom, retrieves Bingo and they go outside. He sprays Bingo, who is barking at the water. Next comes the soap. Alex tries to catch Bingo but he knows what’s coming. Bingo gets tired of running and Alex grabs Bingo’s collar and lather’s him up. Bubbles are everywhere. Finally, Bingo is clean but Alex wants to have more fun, so he turns the hose on his mom. His mom squeals with her hands in the air. She grabs the hose from Alex and the fun begins! Alex can’t help but giggle as he chases his mom to retrieve the hose. Water and soap are everywhere. All three are having a great time! Finally they are
all soaked but clean. What a wonderful way to spend a hot July afternoon!
