He’s looking kind of gruffy. He looks like he’s about to get into a vehicle. He’s going somewhere. He’s putting the flag out. An American flag. This takes place on a city street in a big city. It’s New York City.
Based on the cars, there’s a 1963 and a 1954. That’s old! The main thing that interests me in the picture is the man’s sash. I wonder what it represents. He looks like a proud American from another country. No, he’s American. It’s true. His name is Wilbur but we could call him Smiley.
His body language says he is upset about something. He’s got his hand on his hip. He is making a statement of authority. He stands for Americana.
I would not be there. I would be in the woods. I’m not a city man.
He’s got a leather strap hanging. Not sure if anyone saw that but it’s the kind you use to put the flag pole in. He’s either going to a parade or coming from a parade. This is a Columbus Day parade. He looks very Italian. He was part of the parade. Based on all the people around it looks like they’re gathering for a parade like the Columbus Day parade.
He’s getting out there. He is getting the water. He definitely becomes an American.
