It's a nice spring day at the park and picnic grounds. It's still a little chilly, that's why everyone's wearing sweaters. A family is getting together for a tailgate because it's football season and the whole neighborhood is out. There's at least 20 kids and some adults. They're enjoying baked beans they brought in large kettles. The two women in front are pretty. They look like they could be twins or sisters. There are balloons. They are selling pies, cakes, brownies, and waffles that are decorated festively. There're not many children by the food. It's a fundraiser for the neighborhood's local church and school. Somebody's getting hungry and peaking between the trees, eyeing the deserts. We hear voices, chit-chat, maybe a guitar and some street musicians. It's a big party. The two women will yell, "come and get it!" The cake's just been cut and the party's just getting started. What's next? Empty pie plates and full tummies! Time for a nap. Don't forget to brush your teeth!
