He’s so happy he’s over the moon.
He’s so happy because there’s no snow.
His name’s Gene. He’s not Gene Autrey. He’s Mark Rothko’s brother.
Gene painted the sky blue and spray painted his horse pink.
He got paint on his boots.
His horse’s name is paint, but it used to be called Old Faithful because he was a quiet and patient horse.
Gene’s playing guitar music.
Nothing hard because he’s jumping.
Maybe open tuned slide guitar and Delta blues.
He’s not really happy.
An audience is watching him.
Maybe he’s trying to impress someone.
Maybe a woman.
His horse got his nose in the paint.
It’s not really his horse.
He’s a horse painter not a horse whisperer.
See the number one on the horse. This is the first horse he painted.
He won a race. He’s celebrating his winning.
He comes down and has to find something to clean up all the paint.
He doesn’t look like the kind of guy who cleans up after himself
So, he just rides off into the sunset on somebody else’s horse because he’s a guitar playing, horse painting, flamboyant horse thief.
As he rides away he’s dreaming of future races and spray painting an orange or pink sunset.
