Oh for the Day – Singin’ in the Leaves
It takes place in the fall. There are lots of leaves. The leaves are all turned and have fallen from the trees. All colors of leaves. They look like maple leaves.
There is someone playing guitar. She's looking up and dreaming while she's playing. She's wishing she didn't have to rake up all of the leaves. She needs more clothes on. She's concentrating. She's playing Jesus Loves Me.
The look on her face looks sad like she's thinking about her boyfriend. If she's singing Jesus Loves Me, maybe she's dreaming about heaven. Or maybe it's Jimmy Loves Me.
She's close to the shadows. One of the shadows looks like a tree and one looks like a building. It looks like she's sitting in front of a fence. She's sitting on an outdoor piece of furniture - maybe a bench. She must have been sitting there a while because the leaves have piled up next to her.
She better put that guitar down and get a rake.
She's looking intently at that guitar.
Do you think she's trying to play the guitar and sing? She has her fingers on the strings. She's by herself. I think Jesus is listening to her. Someone might be on the other side of the fence.
There's a design on her guitar. It looks like there's a design on her guitar. There are two girls.
What's the fluffy thing on her shoulder? Is it a pin? Could it be a strap on the guitar?
Her name might be Tanya. She's wearing a dress and hosiery. She's wearing all blue and she's a young girl.
It looks like October or November, maybe 2016.
Is it a posed picture. She plays the guitar when she gets frustrated and she doesn't want to go to work. I think she's still learning. The bench needs to be painted. Maybe clear so you can see the wood through.
I think she looks 13. I think she's in her late teens, maybe 18. I think she looks 16.She may be waiting for her boyfriend.
Next she may put her guitar down and go to work raking the leaves. Mama's told her to get those done and she's putting it off.
