Out of the Blue
The plane is going. The plane is trying to land. Dottie thinks so too. It’s been at 10,000 feet. People were jumping out of it, sky diving to 1,000 feet then opening their parachutes to land. The plane was higher up. There’s one person in the plane, the pilot.
Dottie says the plane is a two seater with 2 people. She does not see an exit for sky diving. There are three people in the plane. It’s Arizona, up in the air and it looks like a hot place. No trees or shrubbery. The images on the horizon are too short to be wind propellers. It’s a gathering place for sky divers. It’s an upper wing aircraft. The door opens at foot level.
There are only two people, a pilot (a man) and a woman. They know each other. The plane is in front of him. They could be operating photographic gadgets to photograph the landscape (like Google). I can’t judge the height. It does not seem very high because of the shadow. Well, I’m not so sure it’s a shadow. It could be a body of water and we are only seeing a slice of it from here. It can’t be water because there are tire tracks there. The guy is going to land that plane so the sky divers can come down.
Hey, no one is waiting for that plane. It will go down and go back up checking out the area but it’s not going to land. There’s nothing there! It does not look like a landing strip.
If I were there I would hear the motor. I would hear the wind roaring and the motor whining. I’m on a quad (ATV) and I’m going out to meet them. All I can hear is the motor of the quad. Vroom, vroom! I’m going to determine my approach.
What’s in those three piles in the background? Along the horizon, sawdust, spontaneous combustion, and then fire engines. But wait that does not make any sense there is no smoke. Those are very mysterious objects on the horizon. He’s looking over the land to see what is there. He’ll land. Lots of people have been there before.
This story will have to do until the real thing comes along. The pilot may be checking for wolves or whatever on the landscape. A great time was had by all.
