A teddy bear and his name is Paddington. He’s sitting in a bird bath. He’s going to be dirtier than before because of all of the junk he is sitting on. One man’s junk is another man’s treasure! Paddington’s left leg is in water because of how he is sitting. He’s also holding a stick to defend himself from culprits. Also, he has no clothes because he has warm fur. Paddington is probably embarrassed that someone left him there. A little boy dropped him because who else would carry a teddy bear but a little boy? The bear belongs to the little boy. The boy’s name is Fred. He is 10 and has no friends other than his bear. Paddington was a Christmas present from his parents. But where are his parents? Only god knows. His parents must be with him because it’s in his backyard. Look at all of the wires and poles so he must be on a boat. In the boat are garbage and a bicycle wheel. No, it’s bigger than that! The bear is in a backyard because of the trees and houses. Sunrise in the winter. It’s an urban environment, too, because of the houses, rocks, junk and old boards. The clouds remind me of the reflection on the water. This is in Milwaukee, WI and it’s 1963. Kids were smoking weed then. Fred was, too! His Mom’s name is Cora Schultz. She’s probably crazy to want to marry a man. She talks to men and asks them to join the priesthood. Paddington’s Dad is an architect named Bill. Fred is helping Paddington become famous so he can get out of the backyard junkyard. Fred could be healed if he wanted to be. He will become famous. Fred and Paddington will make it to Hollywood. They will be put in a burlesque show. And I’m going to walk out! The two of them then go to a bar and sit on top of the bar and celebrate!
