Posty the mailman is making Christmas deliveries. He is a happy-go-lucky fellow - no dogs to bite him and no children throwing chestnuts. There are presents in the mailbag. The people next door have a snowbank so he's probably been walking through snow. He looks like he's holding a harmonica or an envelope. One of the packages is yellow. There is a parcel that is fragile. Postmen probably get a lot of laughs because of some of the parcels they have seen. Or they may laugh and say, "It rattles because it's broken." How is he going to deliver that with mail with both of his hands full? He is delivering a box of Laura Secord Chocolates. Maybe those won't get delivered to the right place! Posty might stick them back in his bag for the old homeplace. The person who sent them will never know. They'll think they just got lost in the mail. They're lost - end of story. Posty is smiling. He's thinking, "The address was wrong anyway. M.C. Moore? Nobody named that lives here - I'll take them home." He might lose his job with Canada Post. But how would he get caught anyway?
