Rainbows in the water
It was a warm summer day when James was watering the plants alongside his house. His sister Tiffany, was following him like he had a shadow. As he watered, they could smell the moist dirt around the plants. When the water hit the plants, the leaves would bend slightly, and glisten from the water droplets. In the droplets, James could see a small rainbow with colors of blue, red, and yellow. Discovering rainbows in the water was fascinating.
James pulled the hose into the backyard. He was determined to try and make more rainbows. James put his fingers over the end of the hose and water sprayed everywhere. He could feel the cool water dripping down his sun-kissed cheeks.
Tiffany giggled as she caught the water drops in her mouth. She liked the cool wet feeling of the water on her skin. But she didn’t like the way the water made her clothes cling tightly to her body.
Their cousin, Amy was watching them enjoying themselves. As James saw more rainbows he would call out the many colors they displayed.
