Her name might be Ayva or Harriet.
Originally, she’s from New York—where the children take dance lessons. There’s a song about people dancing in New York!—and a song about the joys of dancing!
That morning, she went out and saw a couple of guys with instruments; she started to dance, to make people happy—she dances the Hoola Hoop, so people like it!
She’s teaching people how to dance the Salsa!
The musicians are very young and want to learn how to behave and how to tap dance.
She might be dancing to stay warm…..All she wears is “60 yards of lace and mosquito netting on her face” giggle
Perhaps people are selling flowers, it’s a very good day—the sun is out, flowers grow all around—so big and beautiful. People are astounded to see the beautiful flowers; the flowers smell so good.
The air may smell of sweat…or, fresh air after rain—or falling leaves.
It’s spring time or maybe fall—or whatever time you’d be selling flowers in the street! Crocuses come up first!
After dancing, she takes a few bows because people enjoyed her—she says she’ll come again and goes back to work. People enjoyed her…. and the band!
