Should’ve Been in Church!
Sexy. Pretty. Antique.
Car is parked in a hot dog stand. Hamburgers. Shopping Center. Pizza. Onions. Steak. Ice Cream!
Makes you want to go shopping.
1940, a little later than that. I say, 1950. Old and antique.
A Buick. He is a Buick. The owner is a big shot. A man who owns the shopping center. He inherited the car from his parents. His Buick is his jewel. It makes him feel sexy.
People walking.
The car would make a noise like a motorcycle, a lot of noise.
There are two people standing there, a man and his wife. They are talking about shopping, more antiques.
A parade! A band!
The man and his wife might have had Chinese for dinner.
A small, little city town. It's a nice little town, known for Bluebell Ice Cream? I don't think so. Might've been ice cream but probably NOT Bluebell with that kind of car in it.
They're headed to a movie. Elvis didn't drive a car like that. They could be going to church.
"You are My Sunshine."
(Phyllis starts singing.)
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
(Everybody join her in singing.)
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away
The other night dear, as I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms
When I awoke, dear, I was mistaken
And I hung my head and cried
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away"
He blows her a kiss and tells her, "I love you."
