This story takes place in a quaint little drinking town with a hurricane problem during the late 80’s and early 90’s. Rosie, also known as Sally Sue, is holding her party mask in her hands. She is laughing because she sees something. She sees somebody with a camera. The camera man told her to smile. He is paying attention to her even though she is an old lady. She’s not used to younger men paying attention to her. So, when he spoke to her, she started laughing. She isn’t alone. There is someone behind her in the white car. There is someone sitting in the snow. We don’t know who they are.
It just happened to snow during the spring; however, this is a warm place. Her jacket is open and it hot in March! Outside it feels like hot flashes. In the North she would be cold. n the South she would be warm. Finally, Rosie walks off looking for someone. She put her party mask on and finished the parade while her party hair blew in the wind.
