He is wiping his sweat. It's time to go home after a long day of work. The sun is hot. He is hot from being out in the sun all day.
This man is a farmer. He farms strawberries. The farmer's name is Brian and he is standing on the edge of his strawberry field at the end of a long day.
Brian has a family. He wouldn't be working so hard if he didn't have a family. His wife and six children are at home. He is warm and tired and just wants to go home and rest. Brian will sit down, put his feet up and read the paper that he's got in his hand.
The farmhouse is just on the other side of the strawberry field. He will drive home. Jean is his wife. Their six children are named Dorothy, Ruth, Stanley, Kennith, Murray, and Joyce.
The kids enjoy the strawberries. They also help to care for the berries. They water, weed, and put straw around the plants. Brian sells the strawberries and his wife makes jam with them too.
It is fall and the season is almost over. During the winter Brian will curl, his kids will play monopoly and cards, and his wife will sew clothes for the family.
