It’s in the Norte-O’Canada! It’s pretty cold. It’s in the snow.
Jackson is riding his bike in the snow. He is stuck.
He is going for groceries—milk and bratwurst, comfort food—for his mother. His dad helped him put chains on the tires to get through the snow. When he gets back with the groceries he’s got to go to school.
On his way to school he clears a path for his little brother. He has fool-hearted determination. He’s leaning, tipping over.
We he gets to the store, the store is closed from too much snow. He cries and goes back home.
His mother sends him to the other store.
