There's a whole bunch of people here. Lots of food, lots of pastries.
Those are not vegetables. There's something in a soup bowl - maybe chowder or maybe bread pudding.
Some nice looking pie. Maybe pancakes.
There's really a lot of people there.
I'd take those two little kids home with me - just for a visit to give their parents the day off.
It's a picnic - looks like a big reunion.
There's a lot of fancy hats.
There's something funny in that tree - maybe a cloth or blanket. Maybe it's the woman's apron.
They're hungry. They're at a place you can sleepaway - cabins.
They're outside.
It's the US - Massachusetts in the late spring in the 60s.
It's a church festival or party because they're all dressed up - a lot of the men are dressed up.
They don't have enough food for the people in the back.
There's a yellow balloon being blown up.
Is there a nun in the background?
There are about 50, maybe even more people there. There's a lot of people in the back.
Once a year they have the festival. They eat, maybe a band is there (you gotta have something with music), dancing, maybe costume characters.
They have to have a lot of food to coincide with the desserts here. We're missing about half of them from the picture.
There are craft booths - they sell things.
Two sisters in the front could be twins. Maybe they're the ones that invited all the people.
They have different colored shirts on and their coats are pretty similar. They're both right handed.
It doesn't look like it's easy for others to get to the food. Maybe they're having a barbecue in the back and the desserts are up front.
The little girl is eating with her mouth - it might be a cookie.
The women are Iris and Petunia. They're twins and are the same age, around 30. The kids belong to them. Iris is losing her apron. Petunia's apron is in the tree.
The kids are Rose and Johnny.
Johnny thinks, "Look at all the food! I want to eat that!" He's looking at the desserts.
Iris and Petunia are feeding people we can't see and they're facing them. There's another girl right behind Iris - maybe they're triplets!
Set up for the festival takes weeks of planning.
It's outside so they had to put up tables and tablecloths.
20 people volunteered to set it up. Somebody's gotta be cooking.
At church about a month before the festival they had a sign up so they'd know how many people are coming.
There's a building in the top left that could be their church. They could be staying there too.
There's a yellow car that brought all the things for set up.
The festival lasts a weekend. Lots of people who might not usually attend are there.
It's a big church and the festival is open to the community.
They all look happy. They have a beautiful day.
They say what a wonderful time it was.
