Out in the country Teddy was riding a bike and he wrecked. He said, “It’s harder to ride a bike than you think.” His friend, the little boy had just kept going faster and faster. Now one of the little bear’s legs is stuck in the wheel and the other leg is crooked. When they wrecked they ran into wood that had been heaped up for a bonfire. He looks so sad. A man has walked up and asked if he could help him out. “Please I need an ambulance” said the bear. “I’ll call Mama and Papa bear,” said the man. A storm is coming – you can hear the thunder and see the clouds. Teddy is getting afraid. Its fall but the trees haven’t changed their colors yet. Green River is just over the hill. Fresh air and fishy smells mingle. You can smell the rain that’s on the way. Little bear is quivering – he’s afraid of lightening strikes. The man who came to check on little bear went to get help and the EMT’s came and set little bear’s leg. The man called little bear’s Big Papa bear and his sweet Mama Bear to come and pick him up. Papa and Mama Bear picked him up and hugged and kissed him and reminded him that next time he should ask permission to go bike riding.
