We see a teddy bear and a tire. The bear’s name is “Teddy”. He’s in the back yard, sitting on a tire in a woodpile. He has lots of time, and it’s a good thing to have free time. Teddy belongs to a little girl named Nora, and it was her brother Henry who put Teddy there. Henry wanted to play a trick on his sister. Nora is crying under the wood pile.
Is Teddy disgusted, or is he “King of the Castle”? Teddy is worried because there could be a bonfire, and he doesn’t want to get burnt! Teddy has one leg up and one leg down. He’s getting ready to jump and go somewhere. He can’t go by bike, because he only has one tire. He wishes he could get the bike back together. Teddy would rather be on Nora’s bed. It looks like rain and he’s going to get wet. But Nora is coming to rescue Teddy.
