A dog, a lovely dog, looking for something to eat.
He’s got a red thing around his neck. Actually I think it’s two towels. He’s going to have a bath.
His name is Paddles or Beatrice.
The dog’s gonna burst into song. Dogs can’t sing! Can I please have my money back?
Ow ow ow ow ow (singing). I composed the song as it went along.
He’s going for a walk. To dry out. Usually they shake. And then they go and roll in the dirt. That’s after they’ve been washed!
I’m going to entice my partner closer, he thinks. We’re going to have a sniff session.
What’s the red disc around his neck? It’s the change from his sale – half a crown.
He’s gotta be on a lead – if you let him go he will jump in the lake chasing the ducks. And he comes back two hours later.
We want it to be a happy ending.
He’s gonna go home to a nice feed, a warm home, and a good rub down.
