The Beautiful Home of the John Brown Family
November 1, 2019
Jim is out for his daily walk. On the river. Walking on the side of the San Gabriel River. Looks like there are lots of things on the side- people walking. Could be the Brazos River, the only river I know.
He may be on his way home. He's coming from his house. From the land. It looks like there are steps to walk around. There are stones to walk across. From step to step. He's probably someone's father.
You can't miss, it is the only crossing to his home- lots of steps. His house must be brick, a 4 room simple house with an outside bathroom. His wife, Emma, is at the house. She is preparing a meal and taking care of the chickens. Frying chickens for dinner.
The children come out to meet him when they come home from school. Two kids- Dwayne & Larry. Jack & John. Jack & Jill fetched the pail of water. He feels happy to see his kids running to meet him.
He may have to carry that water for the chickens and the animals. Had to cross the creek to get it. Sounds of rushing water, birds singing, animals or wolves off in the distance. He's got a coat on - it's always cool on the water.
He's looking down at the steps not to miss a step.
I think so - he's probably making it home on the walkway. He's a very secure person.
