The Boy, The Cookie Jar, and the Dog
He’s hiding in the closet because he stole that, and is going to eat it, and the dog is watching, waiting to get a bite. His name is Bill. He’s into trouble, we know that. He’s eating something, a fish? or a cookie. He’s got a whole box of cookies, and he’s licking his thumb because it tastes so good! He’s got that guilty look on his face. The dog’s name is Sandy or Laddie. He wants a cookie and a lick too. If the dog could talk, he would say, “Share with me”.
The dog and boy get along really good. Bill is wearing the same socks as me! Bill and the dog are hiding away from the rest of the family. All you have to do is look in his eyes. The dog has his tongue out. These are peanut butter cookies. The dog looks hungry. Dogs are always hungry! Bill is not going to share his cookies with Sandy or Laddie if he can help it!
That’s coke in the glass; it’s dark in colour. He’s probably been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. The dog is going to steal a cookie. There is going to be no happy ending if Mom catches Bill. But maybe she’s a good Mom, and she knows all about little boys and puppies.
