This is an airplane. The lady is having her picture taken.
Barbara - She has funny boots and gloves.
Dorsey - This was a long time ago in the 1800’s. It’s terribly cold. She may be a good pilot but she was told to hold still so they could take her picture.
Dorsey - She can’t be flying the plane because she can’t make it turn.
Emma – The plane is broken. It’s not doing anything. This plane can’t fly and the girl can’t fly it either. She doesn’t know what she is doing.
Dorsey – The family thinks it’s wonderful that she’s trying to learn to fly but hey know she can’t fly yet.
Barbara – They are very protective of her so they’re glad she can’t use this plane to fly.
Dorsey said there are no sounds since it’s not running.
Dorsey noticed that the picture is in the Library of Congress but Barbara doesn't think the event happened in this country. The clothes are all different.
