As told by the University Gates Storytellers: Bev, Elsie, Marg, Marjorie, Dori .....
He's just a kid! He's a man with a yellow shirt not too heavy. And dark blue shorts - and a straw hat. It's hot out! He needs that big hat. Looks like he's a homeless boy? I think he's just lonely, but he's got friends and a nice hat!
Look at all those dumb chickens! They're hungry and looking for food. Those aren't chickens, they're trees. How old are those chickens? Chick, chick, chick, chick - there's about 11 chickens there! 11 or 12 at least for sure. Maybe they're not old enough to be alone? There's all those right there!
They know he'll feed them - he doesn't have a name. How is he going to feed them all? He has no business trying to feed so many! He's for sure somewhere hot. They should all be protected! Where's the adult to take charge? They eat seeds you throw at them! A person should get a Kitchener Record newspaper to find all this out! You wouldn't see this in Waterloo!!
