Inn 1970 on the streets in Brooklyn New York, a lady named Sara was dancing happily to the music of the Red Cross Band. A few months back, a group of friends asked Sara if she had ever bee to New York. She replied "No but I have always wanted to go someday". So Sara and her friends began planning a trip for the fall of that year. Arriving to the big city, the weather was perfect. It was chilly but not too chilly and not smoldering hot like they were use to. It was a big shock to see such busy life. Lights and cars flooded the streets, music of all types filled the air and people walked briskly past them as they were taking in all the sights and sounds of the big apple. Coming from a small town, Sara had never seen or heard such lively music coming from a street corner. Sara felt very out of place but excited to have the chance o experience something she has always wanted to do. As the group of women walked down the street toward their hotel, all of a sudden everything came alive! There was music in the air and people were dancing in the streets. Sara decided to embrace the full experience and step outside her comfort zone as she jumped in the middle of a band and began to dance her heart out. There was laughter and chatter all around her as others joined in and danced along with her. This will be a trip she will never foreget!
