This is Sydney at the bus stop. It’s raining and it looks cold. It could be lunch time. The man has a sandwich on his lap and the dog wants a bite. The dog’s name is Blackie. He is fat and long. He looks up to say “are you going to give me a bite ice-cream”? “Run off mate” said the man. It’s cold weather and they are done up in rugs and scarves. I think the man and the dog know each other by attention to each other. The man has dementia. If we were there we would hear the sounds of the trees “wee-ee-ee” and the dog’s “woof woof”, the sound of the raindrops, frogs and ducks “quack quack”. Give the dog something to eat. The man is not thinking to give the dog anything, he can’t really make up his mind. The people are waiting for the bus to go to Bondi. The dog finally gets something to eat. The bus is late, the people are not in a good mood and they are cold. The dog looks sad. The man and the dog go home together on the bus.
