This is the story of a little 10 year boy in the 1930’s named Tim (JE). Tim is an only child, and he had been watching Nickalodeon on TV (EP and HC) before he decided to be sneaky and sneak off to the laundry room with the cookie jar (HC). He is hiding from his parents (MH and AP). They are around (JE), maybe they are on the porch (AP). Tim is sucking his thumb b/c he is getting all the cookie off his thumb (MH). He is eating Amish cookies (EP) while he rests up against the washer & dryer in the laundry room (HC). He is also drinking milk (HC). His dog, Pretty Girl, is a 4 year old happy, happy, friendly, pretty dog (MH), who doesn’t bite (AP). She is the family dog, and she and Tim get along well. But Pretty Girl caught Tim being sneaky (HC). She wants something to eat and thinks the boy is eating out of her dog box (AP). She tore his pants trying to get some of the cookies from Tim (MH and AP).
His family is inside the house while Tim is in the laundry room. They are eating dinner (AP) and watching TV (HC). We can hear the sounds of TV in the background (MH), and his mom is calling for Tim (HC), and the sounds of eating happening (EP). We can smell meat from dinner (AP), chocolate chip cookies (HC), and even dog food (EP). If Tim gets caught, it’s not going to be good (EP and HC). He will get a scolding (AP). He’s going to get something on his bottom (MH). There won’t be any more cookies in the cookie jar for him if his mom catches him (AP). But he is going to grow up and be a fine person. He’s just sneaking cookies from the cookie jar (HC)!
