One warm, sunny day, in the month of August, Maryann, who had just got engaged, was walking down the pier when all of a sudden her ring slipped right off her finger and into the lake. In a panic, she dove into the lake. Searching franctically for that beautiful diamond, that she cherished. After an hour of searching diligently in the calm waters of Lake Ontario she saw the glimmer of her beautiful diamond ring. She reached down and put it on her dainty finger. From the pier above she heard the crowd cheering. She silently said a prayer of thanks. After getting out of the lake she went straight to the jewelers where she had her ring sized. From that day forward she never had to fear losing her engagement ring again. This ends our story of the lost engagement ring.
