It looks like a boat steering wheel. It is a cotton picker. It's an airplane, see the upper wing. She reminds me of Amelia Earhart. Her name is Jane and she is twenty-three. She is going to fly it. It in the twenties or thirties. There's a cotton basket. She is all wrapped up. To keep her warm in the air. Looks like aluminum around her legs. Maybe she's spraying tobacco. She needs a parachute. There is a cotton shed. Gotta keep it going straight. I never saw a cotton picker. She is working for her folks on the farm. Daddy says, "You work, or else!". You can hear metal clanging, a motor roaring, and smell the earth after a rain. She won't do this forever. She'll marry on of them men and raise a family. She'll have four kids and they will be proud of her. They'll say, "Momma, you worked so hard.". They think she was brave to try new inventions. She will show them the value of a a dollar. She will take them to visit their grandparents on the farm. They had lots of fun even though it was a lot of work. Builds character.
