The Fog, The Sun And The Wind
M., D., A., S. - 4 seniors living in a Montreal govt. long term residence.
In Molly's room - Tuesday Dec 19, 2017
It could be a man on a beach - the white could be the sun. There is someone in the foreground and someone in the background. There is fog and 2 people passing may have met once but they do not know each other well. One turns and she is not sure if she knows the other.
On the beach the first person was trying to catch a ball from the other person but the girl in the foreground dropped the ball and it swept into the water. The girl was disgusted with herself because she was not athletic. The boy turned away. The girl did not want to get involved in the ball- playing game.
The girl knew the other person was leaving. She was very reluctant but she knew her father wanted her to go to school and her father did not want her to see him again. She was sad and the boy sensed something was wrong.
The first person could have rounded shoulders. The girl looks apprehensive - her eyes look down.
The girl's name is Laurie McConnell and the boy's name is Peter O'Reilly. Laurie is drawn to Peter but their families have had a feud for 2-3 generations.
There could be a battle and she is losing custody. The girl feels pushed out. The boy is dear to her - it could be her son or her brother. They are separated - she senses something final.
The sun is shining on Laurie's hair - breaking through the fog.
