One winter morning Billy and Bobby were on their way to the wishing well. They wanted to find it because they were hoping to make wishes for their upcoming birthdays.
Along the way Billy and Bobby ran into some problems. Their first problem was crossing the street. This street happened to be the busiest street in town. They were told growing up to never cross the street without an adult. Billy and Bobby found Mr. Manners to help them cross the street. Mr. Manners reminded them that they need to hold hands to cross. They crossed the street safely with the help of Mr. Manners and were able to continue on their journey.
Once Billy and Bobby were on their they came to a confusing intersection. They were having a hard time reading their map and happened to take a wrong turn. Before they left for their trip they Google-mapped their journey. They had also printed out pictures to help them along the way. They were looking thru their pictures and nothing looked familiar. They decided they better ask Mrs. Agnes for help. She told them they were 5 miles out of the way. She helped them back to the intersection and sent them in the right direction.
Billy looked down at his watch and noticed that it was lunch time. They didn't pack their lunches so they needed to find somewhere to eat. They stopped at McDonalds for cheeseburgers and kool-aid. Once they were done eating they played in the play area and then were back on their journey.
They were continuing on their journey when they came to the woods. They had heard stories about a fox who lived there who wasn't very nice. The fox was named George. Billy and Bobby were almost thru the woods when George approached them. Billy and Bobby were instantly scared. They had heard stories but they didn't know what George could do. George was guarding the woods that day and wanted to know why Billy and Bobby were coming thru. They explained to George where they were going and George was very interested. He had never heard of the wishing well. Billy and Bobby were nervous about George but they soon found out that what they heard was just stories. George joined them for the rest of their journey to the wishing well. George's wish was to save the woods from mean animals.
The wishing well was just on the other side of the woods. All three boys said their wishes and turned around to head home. George walked Billy and Bobby all the way thru the woods so nothing could harm them.
Billy was very happy that Bobby Google-mapped their entire journey so they had a safe trip home.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver were so happy to see Billy and Bobby arrive home safely before dinner.
The next day was Billy and Bobby's birthday. The wishes they made at the well all came true. They had the best 7th birthday party. At their party they had the best fish they had ever had. Billy got an Ipod and Bobby got a Nintendo DS. All of their friends went home and they played with their new toys all night.
