The Girl with the Monkey Who Fell In Love
It’s a plane
It’s an old fashioned plane.
If it was me I’d be jumping.
I’ve never been on a plane.
I love to fly.
Her name is Mildred.
She could be going anywhere.
It looks like she’s in Coney Island.
Her family is going to pick her up.
There are sounds from the motor. Brrrr, Brrrr, Zzzzz, Grrrrr, Brrrr.
She could be a flyer and a secretary.
She’s a monkey shower to the people.
Wind flies and holds up the wings.
Her monkey’s name is Sweetheart.
Mildred and Sweetheart are going on honeymoon to Hawaii.
Someone will give them wreaths.
They’re going to do the hula.
They enjoy the trip.
They’ll go to the beach.
They’ll have lunch, anything they enjoy.
She’s going to show that the monkey does tricks.
The monkey jumps on Tarzan’s shoulder and jumps from tree to tree.
He does the hula dance and back flips.
Mildred was a big success with her monkey.
The sun is setting.
She saw some of her friends and relatives there.
The monkey does everything the people do, “Monkey see monkey do.”
Monkey has pretty eyes.
“I’m gonna sit right down and write myself a letter,
and make believe it came from you.”
