It looks very athletic with the skating. They are in a parking structure, or a dance hall, rehearsing with skates. He's got a strong grip on her!
Both skaters are looking at us. Maybe they are looking at a photographer or a judge, or a good friend.
They are rehearsing for a competition. First place gets $1,000! (We've got to make it worth their while..) They can move on to a higher competition in NYC if they win.
They are in Harlem. They're a couple and they've been together for 5 years. They skate for money, and to help each other.
They move on to the final competition in Madison Square Gardens! There is a BIG skating rink, and a big crowd, which scares them. I'm sure all the skaters are pretty darn good.
They wear red and gold costumes, with gold roller skates. The competition is near the holidays and Christmas music will play for their round. It goes pretty well! No one has fallen down or lost a wheel. There were 10 finalists, and they're in a rush to get done because they're getting married on Christmas day!
