Fred the postman is delivering Christmas mail and packages. Fred is happy because he is doing what makes other people happy. Fred is delivering mail in New England. In the packages there are lots of chocolates. The chocolates are from a man named George and he is sending them to his mother, Mary. As Fred is walking to Mary’s house, he hears the crunching of the snow underneath his feet. He knocks on the door and a young boy answers. The boy’s name is Jim. Jim sees the chocolates and starts jumping up and down from excitement and grabs the chocolates and rips the wrapping paper off and eats all the chocolates. He ate them fast because he didn’t want his mother or his brothers and sisters to see the chocolates. Jim hides he evidence underneath the stairs so no one would find out he ate all the chocolates. Oh, they’ll find out! But wait, when his siblings came home they see he chocolate smeared all over his face. They ask Jim, Where is the rest of it?!” Jim replies, “In my stomach!” Jim runs outside and hides in his snow fort and makes snowballs. Everyone chases Jim outside and his sister slips on some ice! She’s fine and gets back up. Everyone forgives Jim and they all play in the snow together.
