Humpty Dumpty/ Adam (age 25) is climbing a pole.
There is something on top that he wants to reach, but he might have a hard time getting down.
He might have been climbing up to fix the broken light on top, and now he is on his way down.
He could be in Oshkosh or Milwaukee, behind the building.
It is winter. He might not want to walk or touch the ice on the ground, so he could be climbing to stay away from it.
The wind is blowing, making a “schwooo” sound and it is starting to rain. (“pitter patter, drop, drop”). Cars are going by, and we can hear “beep, beep, honk.” Someone walks by with a stroller and a crying child, so we hear “waaaahhhh!”
Maybe Humpty Dumpty/Adam has the bottoms of his shoes as well as his gloves stuck to the pole. He is feeling frightened, or maybe cold, or frustrated, worried, angry.
The person photographing this event might be one of his friends, or just a bystander. Alternately, it could be his mom, a professional photographer, or just a random person driving by.
We worry that Humpty-Dumpty/Adam might fall (like in Humpty Dumpty). He might even die. Maybe he will fall down and slide across the road, or maybe his mom will catch him.
A fire truck could come to rescue him. He could climb down safely and get a puppy from his mom.
It could be that he will take his hands and feet out of his gloves and shoes (which will still be stuck to the pole) and he will jump down. He might slip on the ice when he does jump down.
