The mailman always delivers the mail even though it is snow or rain or stormy weather. The mailman always comes through. Because it is his dedication. The mailmans name is Jerry. Short for Jerome. He always wanted to be a mailman. He went to Marquette for five years. He put himself through all the time. He works with the City and he lives in South Milwaukee.
He feels happy. Jerry is always happy because that is just the way he is. He is enthused about his delivery. Cards and letters to people at their homes. The package is a book. A book of maps of undisclosed places (you ain't a kiddin'), that children want to go to, like places they dream about.
The mailman hears sounds of the holidays coming from outside the houses. He hears Christmas songs like Silent Night, White Christmas and Away in a Manger.
Right now he is delivering to a good friend named Charlie, they were in the same grade together at South Milwaukee High School.
Jerry and Charlie feel happy. They can do almost anything with each other.
