The Missing Shoe & the Naked Women
They are showing off their shoes, and none of them match!
They are all women, and dancers.
They are dancing for students, and a shoe company, and there is a sale!
Maybe they are naked?
Next, they are going to bring up the curtain, just a little more…
And then they are going to take the shoes off, because they’ve already taken everything else off!
Then the police arrive, and they like what they see.
When the women are dancing, they feel like they are floating.
They are hopping. Maybe they are line-dancing.
They’re thinking, “will we be arrested?” or “Will we be in the newspaper?”
They are going to get arrested and go to jail.
They might fall over (if they only have one leg).
They need to get paid for their dancing, and the students should pay them.
The curtain goes up, and they are arrested, but then they find their matching shoes.
There is a sign that says “APPLAUSE”, and as the curtain goes down, they escape.
