The chickens are asking for food. There are two guys feeding the chickens. What is in his hand? Can't quite make it out but it's silver. It might be a whistle. It's early morning and he's trying to get his exercise- it's his morning ritual-he's flexing his muscles! He has a sock on one leg but not the other! The back of his leg is just in the shade-he's not wearing any socks. It looks like his shorts have the boy scout emblem on them. His name is Tom Jose! Look at the chickens- they're watching the world go by. They are trying to see if they see anyone they know. They're trying to get away from the white chicken and Tom Jose has something on his back. It might be a knapsack and the tie to his hat is around his neck.
This takes place in the Town Square and it's Summer or Fall. There's a fence with a red reflector on it in the back. It doesn't look like his shoes match. The steps lead up to a trellis or something with grapes and a red flower. Apparently he went out too early before his wife could check him for appropriate attire. He's really just out feeding his chickens and they all belong to him- they're not running away from him- and there's a stake in the ground. Are the smaller black birds chickens or are they just black birds just hanging out.
Tom Jose is Mexican. There's an awful lot of chickens. This might be in Southern California-because of his hat - it looks like it's hot there. Tom Jose is a nice guy with a couple of kids-2 boys. The boys are named Jim and John and they are quite young because they'd be feeding the chickens too. What is in his right hand? - and he's making a fists - for balance. His house is behind him where the trellis is. Tom Jose's wife's name is Maria. She's concerned about the plants that are growing in the cement. What could be in his knapsack? Maybe it's the missing sock!!
