There once were two young penguins named Oscar and Ellie May. They lived at the Memphis Zoo, in Memphis TN. Their parents were really good friends. Oscar and Ellie May were even hatched on the same day. Every morning Kasas, the zookeeper, would come into the sanctuary and bang her pail. Each would think to themselves, "food time!" They could already taste the suculant fish Kansas had waiting on them. As they walked across the sanctuary to get their morning snack, the sounds of the other penguins playing in the waterfall filled the air. They also heard the muffled sounds of their good friend and neighbor Joe the Polar Bear yawning as he awoke for the days festivities. The smell of hamburgers, hotdogs, popcorn, and cotton candy filled the morning air. Out of the corner of her eye, Ellie May could already see a family of 6 walking towards the penguin exhibit in awe of all the exotic animals that reside at the Zoo. Ellie May, being the shy penguin she is, felt a little unsure about all the commotion and tried to back up into a hole. Oscar feeling strong, and cofident, grabbed his friends hand, and led her to Kansas. There they enjoyed the most delicious, and finest meal of the morning.
