It's down south somewhere. It must be hot outside. They wouldn't wear clothes like that in the snow.
They are in Georgia.
They don't look very happy.
The girls are listening to him play a song.
He's playing something Southern.
It's an electric guitar. There's a cord and a speaker.
They're in the middle of town. There's a street car and a trolley car and a buggy in the reflection.
There's a horse and a dog in there. Joe, the singer, goes with the horse.
Joe is playing the guitar. I think he gets pennies.
The girls have not brought their things in.
Sarah is 24. She looks like she's goin' to school.
Mrs. Dolittle is the teacher. She teaches english and music.
They have tickets. They're waiting for the bus to Orlando, Florida. They are waiting for something.
They are going to a music festival.
Joe is kind of nonchalant. He almost tells the world, "You may be out there, but I'm playing my guitar."
He's been playing quite a while and he knows he's good. He's earning his living playing guitar.
The horse is possibly a race horse. Joe was a jockey in the past. He raced horses. He's pretty big for a jockey. There could be a racetrack in town.
Joe looks quite comfortable there. Maybe this is a good spot for him. He's there quite often.
How much money he makes depends on how good he is. It ranges from $0 to $0.50 a day.
Sarah and Mrs. Dolittle are going to the music festival to listen to Texas music.
Mrs. Dolittle is going to show Sarah the ropes and get her a job. Sarah wants to be a singer of country music and western music.
Mrs. Dolittle is also a talent manager/music producer.
She wants to show an identity beyond what actually appears to be.
They want to get to Nashville.
Sarah has a big hat.
Sarah's family says, "You gotta be more realistic." Maybe teach as a back up plan.
Mrs. Dolittle is married and she looks like she does what she wants.
I think her husband would be pleased if she found what she was looking for.
Joe takes what comes in stride.
5 years later...they're still active.
Sarah made it! She's singin' in Nashville in the big theater there. Her parents love her for it.
Mrs. Dolittle seems pretty determined. She's producing Sarah's music now.
Joe is still doing his thing. He's making more than $0.50 a day. He gets $20 a day.
The End
