It's a lady and her name in Penelope, she is fed up with life and is committing suicide by diving in the water, she's making a big splash. This is in Brighton, some time ago last week. She feels cold and wet and lovely, she is enjoying herself. She's game, I hope there's no hole in the net, she's overstepped the pier.
Someone could have given her a good push the way she's fallen in. She got no shoes on. " Goodbye cruel world". She wouldn't want shoes on or she would drown, maybe she's lost her shoes and is looking for them.
She wont swim for long because there's a big barracuda shark coming. She may rise up under the wharf.
You would hear the sounds of a big splash. Help! Help! Help! Help!. There is a series of petrol bowsers in the background and a big boat would fill up there and take her home. She'd disappear.
She would have to race over from Port Botany, she'll get in trouble when she gets home because she is all wet and she's lost her shoes. There is no-one there to save her. She better start saying her prayers. She wouldn't have time, there's not a rescuer in sight. She would be singing Good Night Irene.
