It's the mid-1920s and this man, a cowboy in his mid-twenties from San Antonio, Texas, is named Tom Mix. Tom has two brothers, one a cowboy and one a successful banker. He also has a twin brother who has to act like a cowboy but really isn't.
Tom may have fallen off his horse, may be jumping over his horse (he is, after all, quite agile), or else he is rehearsing for an upcoming show and singing "Yellow Rose of Texas." He may be running away from something (it looks like a town in the background). Or he might be running from the crocodile that is in the water. Now he's running to his horse, Blackie. Blackie isn't happy with Tom because he wants to graze in the grasslands and Tom is busy dancing and singing. Blackie is tired but Tom wants to go to Hollywood. He is disappointed with the way his life has turned out and wants to be his own master. He's going to be on a Christmas show on television and will sing "Silent Night" and "All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth." Unfortunately, Tom won't be successful because he doesn't have any talent.
