This man John caught a big fish and is displaying his catch. He is in the everglades on a lake. It can't be the ocean because there are everglade trees close behind him. He is in a boat and is wearing some sort of horse riding pants! But this picture is taken in the 1930's, so it could have just been the style of their fishing pants back then. He caught this big fish, and he is thinking about throwing it back in the water. No, I think he will keep it for dinner. This takes place mid-day because it's still light out. It looks like there is a bell in the boat. It also looks like he is wearing a fancy shirt and tie underneath his fishing clothes. He had a rough day at work, so he decided to go fishing before his date tonight. He can hear the water. There is a bell in the boat and it is ringing to wake people up! There is also some music in the background. He can smell fish! That's why his face is all scrunched up. He can also smell the swamp water around him. He cleaned up the job before the folks got home though. He kind of looks like a famous actor. The fish's name is Jeffrey. John is pretty excited that he caught the big fish. Jeffrey the fish isn't feeling much of anything anymore. John is not alone, because someone took the picture. His wife Cynthia took the picture. She is there helping him finish up so that they can go on their date. John has a knife hanging out of his left pocket, so he will probably end up gutting the fish, taking it home, and cooking it on the bbq for their date. They are hopeful for food, good weather, and a good time together. He will quietly tip toe away with the fish to bring it home.
