Sally was discussing the events of the day, said Betty S. ST said she was laughing when somebody said she was pretty. Maybe she had some happy juice or hurricane rum…with a cherry on top.
Lavada thinks she’s going to celebrate and Betty H. wants to go along as a chaperone
and ST wants to write her biography.
Later in the evening, she’s going to jazz, said Betty H. ST said she is going to the newscast and talk about her wobbly walk.
She has a boyfriend named Rick, said Ann. Sally Ann Snapshot is her name. Rick is the cameraman, said Ann. Edith says he’s going to take her out afterwards. ST says he will order steak and aspirin sauce.
Betty says she’s a teacher. Sue says she sells real-estate. ST says she writes swamp stories. Ann adds that they are in the society column.
