The little boy is sick. It looks like he is eating something or maybe reading a book. "I think he was naughty and sent to bed." says Elvia. "He says 'I better be sleeping when my dad comes home."
Tommy is the boy's name. The Dr. has been there, we saw the doctor's bag. The family is well-to-do, because they have a 4 poster bed and pretty sheets. Grant sees his stuffed dog on the night stand watching so Tommy can have fun. Marilyn says he has one brother and Sharon says a couple of sisters would make it interesting!
His sisters are in the kitchen making cocoa and cookies for him, but Shirley says "He already has milk and cookies." Tommy feels sick.
The year is 1935. Tommy has a kitty and a doggy. Mary says that the cat is a calico cat, orange and white and is named Pumpkin Pie. "The name of the dog is "Honey-Mush", meaning dog in Ojibway", says Lenny.
Tommy gets better and they all live happily ever-after.
