This is a the railway near a park. The story is about a boy and a negro before the train comes. It is lunchtime. The dog is hungry and asking for food. The dog's name is Jackie and the boy's name is Joe. The dog belongs to Joe or the dog wouldn't go to him. It's cool, it's cold and they are rugged up. It feels like the morning because everyone is going to work. We wouldn't hear much but we would hear them talking, ordinary talking. We would hear the train coming in and tram sounds. We would hear the train whistle and the dog barking. The dog is asking for food. He would make a noise. He is a hungry dog. The man is standing there staring at the dog . He is thinking "bloody dogs, bloody dogs, bloody dogs." There are four people there and they are thinking about what their next move will be. They are waiting for the train to take them to Parramatta. The dog won't get on the train because the conductor won't let him. The dog will go home and everyone will be going home too, if they have a home to go to. Along comes the train and separates everyone and then there is nothing. Finally the dog got a break.
