We call him Trouble.
He’s lots of trouble.
He’s not going to school.
He’s just big enough to get into mischief.
His motto is “when I eat, the dog eats”.
He’s setting a poor example for Coco, the family dog.
Every dog is a food taster.
A little bit of this, a little bit of that.
Coco is supposed to learn not to eat from the table.
He needs nutritional treats.
Mom is out in the yard, but she’s coming in.
She’s not happy.
She’ll grab his ear.
“You think you’re going to eat all those cookies!
Get off that floor!
Get cleaned up!
Put that dog in the garage!”
Coco is smiling.
He’s been waiting for a cookie.
The jelly is sweet as well.
Cookies are special to all boys and dogs.
We all want some too.
But when Trouble grows up
He’s going to get into more trouble.
