By the storytellers of Havenwood
One's trying to say "I can beat you!" and the other one came out and said "I can beat you!"
They're on vacation sort of 'cause there's not a home behind them.
They must be on the beach - there's sand, they're barefoot.
One of them is wearing a shirt and one of them is not so I don't think they're brothers.
One mother was worried they were gonna get sunburned.
Different mothers, different shirts.
The boys in the back, they're trying to find out what they're doing: they just stood up and looked at him.
The one on the right is determined that he's gonna get him, the other one is a little more fancy (he just wants to play).
He's got his fists up!
All because their mothers told them what to do.
He thinks, "I'm right," he thinks, "I'm right."
Their names are Easty, Westy, and Sandy.
They don't know each other - the one on the right is trying to prove something.
He has a dog - maybe that's true and the other one doesn't have a dog, he's mad!
It's very hot.
We smell salt water and hear seagulls.
I think they're on the ocean because of the big house in the back, the Big City: something big - a fancy beach.
The wall is probably separating the beach from the walkway behind it - maybe a lawn.
It's obviously a beach, you can tell by their feet.
Before they got here, they started digging for gold.
So their mother said, "Put those things down!"
They're very different boys.
They want to build a sand house (we used to call them sand castles).
I think they'll dig a hole and watch it fill with water.
I think he said, "I don't have enough money!"
They want money to buy chocolates and salt water taffy.
Easty and Westy - no, they won't fight: the scene shifts and we have two other boys.
Easty and Westy will hug.
Sandy and the other boy are wondering whether they ought to get involved so they won't hit each other.
The two in front are brothers, the two in back are big brothers - they're all one happy family.
Sandy isn't sure if he should break it up.
Next, there's an airplane coming overhead and they're scared!
I wanna know where the airplane is - the airplane is already getting ready: it's scared too!
Maybe it'll crash in the middle of it.
I'm scared! The airplane is going out of control!
They decide to go for a swim: they're all gonna get dressed with their swimsuits and go in the ocean.
Then a big monster comes up! Monsters are big.
Must be New England.
